EDU-TRAINING WORKSHOPS 2026
Master The ERG Machines
Date: 1Mar 2026
Time: 130PM - 330PM
Venue: Alexandra branch
Price: $60 (members), $65 (non-members)
The Concept2 Rower and SkiErg may look straightforward — but efficient, powerful, and repeatable execution is where most athletes fall short.
This workshop breaks down the fundamentals of the ERG machines, helping participants understand how technique, sequencing, and pacing directly impact output, fatigue, and long-term performance. Whether you’re training for HYROX, chasing better conditioning, or simply aiming to move with more control, this session goes beyond “just pulling harder.”
By the end of this ERG Machine Workshop, participants will be able to:
Understand the mechanics of the Concept2 Rower and SkiErg
Learn how body positioning, sequencing, and timing affect power output and efficiency.Execute efficient rowing and skiing technique
Apply correct movement patterns to generate more power with less energy leakage.Identify and correct common technical faults
Recognise habitual errors that increase fatigue or reduce output, and apply practical cues to fix them.Manage effort and pacing on ERG machines
Learn how to control intensity across intervals, workouts, and race scenarios such as HYROX.Maintain technique under fatigue
Develop strategies to sustain movement quality even when heart rate is high.Transfer ERG efficiency to training and competition
Apply improved technique to conditioning sessions and race environments for better performance outcomes.
HYROX: Racing Smarter for a Faster Finish
Date: 8 Mar 2026
Time: 130PM - 330PM
Venue: Alexandra branch
Price: $50 (members), $55 (non-members)
This one-day edu-training workshop is designed for athletes preparing for HYROX who want more than survival — they want efficiency, control, and a personal best.
HYROX is not just about fitness. It’s about understanding the race structure, managing effort across fatigue, and executing movements cleanly when your heart rate is high. This workshop breaks down the race from start to finish, helping athletes understand where time is truly won — and where it’s commonly lost.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
Understand HYROX race structure and standards
Gain clarity on race flow, workout order, movement standards, and common judging pitfalls that cost time or lead to penalties.
Pace running intelligently relative to workout demands
Learn how to adjust run intensity based on upcoming stations, fatigue accumulation, and personal capacity — rather than running every lap the same way.
Execute key HYROX movements efficiently under fatigue
Improve movement efficiency for major HYROX stations by reducing wasted effort, improving transitions, and maintaining standards when heart rate is high.
Identify personal strengths, weaknesses, and limiters
Assess individual performance gaps across running, strength, engine, and skill execution to understand what truly impacts race time.
Prioritise race-day decisions for performance, not ego
Make informed choices around pacing, breaks, movement strategy, and transitions based on personal goals and realistic output.
