ABOUT THE STUDIO

Established in 2013, Knuckles & Notch is a creative studio and Risograph press based in Singapore known for their wildly colourful and often bizarre aesthetic. Their love for art-making is rooted in the inimitable charm of the analogue medium.

They believe in the unique quality of the hands-on process, where novel ways of working creates a stronger understanding between creators and their audience. In that spirit, they persist in creating art through analogue means while continually exploring innovative ways to marry traditional mediums with our ever-changing contemporary landscape.



ABOUT 9 YEARS STRONG KEY VISUAL

PRISM BLOOM POWER MAKEEE-UP!

The key visual sits in a space of resilience and transformation, where things are constantly breaking and rebuilding, and change is never straightforward but necessary. At its centre, a hand gesture unfolds like a lotus sprouting, holding that quiet tension between fragility and growth. In its forming, it keeps pushing through to get there.

Vines wind gently around the hands as connection, creating a subtle network of shared becoming where growth happens alongside others. Nearby, an hourglass speaks to time not as something fixed, but as something we participate in through patience, repetition, and the choice to keep things in motion in order to move forward.

A glass of water rests within the piece, often seen as half empty or half full. It all comes down to how you choose to see it. Perspective isn’t passive, it actively shapes how we move, how we endure, how we face challenges, and ultimately how we transform and make life feel meaningful.
